Caring is a demanding task that requires special skills. That's why we at SpitexCare support you not only in your role as a family caregiver, but also in your personal and professional development. In order to offer you the best possible skills in care, we cover 50% of the costs for the SRC care assistant course.
Invest in your nursing skills: The SRC course
The SRC care assistant course is offered by the Swiss Red Cross and prepares you intensively for caring for your relatives. It consists of a theoretical part and a practical part to put what you have learned into practice.
The total cost of the course is between CHF 2,000 and CHF 2,500. As our commitment to your training and further education, we cover half of these costs.
Depending on the canton, attendance at an information event before the start of the course is mandatory. Find out about the dates and further details here:
In addition to financial support for your training, we are also at your side. Once a month, a SpitexCare employee will visit you to support you in your individual care situation. Specific questions can be clarified, challenges discussed and practical tips and tricks shared. This direct exchange helps you to cope better with everyday life with the person in need of care and gives you confidence in your role.
